DAY 01 COCHIN
On arrival at Kochi meet and transfer to
hotel for 01 night. Cochin - Queen of Arabian seas, is one of the most interesting cities
of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. The ancient Temples,
Churches and Synagogues in this district are of special interest to archeologists and
historians. The Chinese fishing nets, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch palace and the
Bolgatty palace in Cochin enrich the heritage of Kerala. Afternoon go for sight seeing of
Kochi. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02 COCHIN -
MUNNAR
After breakfast drive to Munnar, the most
beautiful hill resort of South India, known for tea estates. Nearly 55000 acres of land
covered with tea like a green carpet on earth. An excellent place for nature. On arrival
check in to hotel for 02 nights. Rest of the day free for own activities. Overnight at
hotel. |
DAY 03 MUNNAR
Full day free for sight seeing at Munnar.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY
04 MUNNAR - THEKKADY
After breakfast drive to Periyar, one of the
most famous wildlife sanctuaries of South India famous for elephants. The drive from
Munnar to Periyar will be interesting and you will be through the valleys and cardamom
hills. This will be the most interesting journey in the tour. On arrival check in to hotel
for 01 night. |

The
splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar River adds to
the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique
experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Afternoon go
for boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. If interested go for elephant safari
(if available and on prior request). Periyar is also famous for the spice plantations.
Visit the spice plantations. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 THEKKADY
- KUMARAKOM
Morning free. Later drive to Kumarakom, one
of the most beautiful backwater sites in this state. The drive from Periyar to Kumarakom
is excellent through the rubber plantations and coco plantations. If interested visit the
rubber plantations and continue to Kumarakom where you will check in to a nice backwater
resort by the vembanad lake. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at Resort. |

06 KUMARAKOM
Day free to visit near by village. Overnight

DAY 07
KUMARAKOM - ALLEPPEY
Morning free. By noon you will be board in
the HOUSE BOAT from the Resort to go for 22 hrs cruise through the world famous backwaters
of Kerala. Alleppey has a large network of canals and is a center for backwater cruises in
our state. The famous Nehru Trophy Boat race - the most colorful of boat races, is held
here on the second Saturday of August every year. During the cruise you will have stops to
go for short walks through the villages. The villagers are normally pleasant and generous
to the tourists!!!. Overnight in the boat.

DAY 08 ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM
Morning in the boat. Later arrive at Alleppey
and on arrival drive to Kovalam and check in to hotel for 02 nights. Rest of the day free
to relax by the beach. Overnight at Resort.
DAY 09 KOVALAM
Day free to relax by the beach. Overnight at
hotel.
DAY 10 KOVALAM - AIRPORT
Morning free. Later transfer to airport
according to the flight timings. |
